Great news for Learning to Sleep, our Swedish wellbeing client. They have partnered up with Swedish football club Sirius of the Allsvenskan league, to launch a new sleep concept for professional athletes.
The new Learning to Sleep concept specifically targets professional athletes with the aim to enhance performance and reduce injuries. It consists of awareness raising activities through seminars and workshops, combined with a sleep programme of individual coaching through the Learning to Sleep app.
“In Sirius, we have a philosophy where we want to focus on additional factors besides what happens on the football field and sleep plays and important role. We have chosen to work with Learning to Sleep because their sleep concept fits well with our focus on the player and the team”, says Daniel Bäckström, head coach.
“Sleep is a crucial part of overall wellbeing and for an athlete sleep really is the most powerful performance enhancer. We are very excited to work with Sirius football club and I truly believe that we can offer strategies around sleep that can be a real game changer”, says Lina Johansson, licensed psychologist, and COO at Learning to Sleep.
