Lock down learning

At HMS16 we have used the lockdown to think about others and share ideas to keep our network and partners updated in these challenging times.

We started with our global travel initiative I’M NOT GOING ANYWHERE, followed that with the launch of STAYHOME PRODUCTiONS, and now we have found the perfect platform to share some views on brands and how to help build them.

We teamed up with Stuart Conroy and JD Vance to help provide some content for their new knowledge channel called Lock Down Learning.

LDL comprises a range of people sharing ideas and insights that can help the future business leaders build their own companies, be it advice on Amazon selling, SEO, telesales, brands building, or coaching and motivation. STAYHOME PRODUCTIONS is up and running

We’re all communicating with each other using screen sharing technology, but what about brands? We’ve been thinking about that at HMS16 and Double Dice Films, and we’ve put our heads together to set up STAYHOME PRODUCTIONS. We’re looking to write fast turnaround stories for brands, with a group of talented actors, film them in the multi-screen environment, ready to be shared on the brand’s social channels.

So, we’re inviting brand managers and marketers, across all sectors, including NGOs and charities, to take a look at the video we put together today and get in touch with either steve.meredith@hms16.com or charles@doubledicefilms.com to find out more. We’d love to have a chat and see what we can come up with together.

An invitation to the travel and tourism industry

To show solidarity with our friends in the travel industry, HMS16 and SCR20 had an idea. What if there was a unifying message everyone could get behind? Right now, we all have to stay at home, no questions asked. But sometime soon, we’ll be able to travel again, and we’ll want to know that the places we love, or want to visit, will be there waiting for us. Wouldn’t it be nice to get a reassuring message from them?

We’re inviting tourist boards, regions, destinations, hotel groups, to take this simple idea, and adapt it into what works best for you. You have your own assets, so you can do your own creative and share it on your channels. The examples we’ve put together in the slideshow illustrate how you could do it, but it’s up to you. What’s crucial is the sentiment in the headline and supporting copy. We’d love to see that in as many languages as possible.

If you decide to use the idea, please tell us and share what you do, so we can share too. If you need any help just get in touch. Maybe you can then donate something to the fight against Covid-19. Thanks for reading, we hope it helps. Stay safe. Steve.Meredith@hms16.com
